New Reproduction OE Factory-style replacement stainless Red exhaust Slotted exhaust tips for Mopar 1971 B-Body models equipped with a resonator.
These exhaust tips are perfect if you want exhaust tips that fit well, perform properly and look good for years to come. Often called Machine-Gun exhaust tips, these bright exhaust tips with red inlay were a not-so-subtle hint at the performance lurking beneath the hood. The original exhaust tips were manufactured in mild steel and chrome plated, a design that did not fare well against the elements and deteriorated after a few years.
Modern fuel mixtures and emissions drastically shorten the lifespan of chrome, so these exhaust tips are manufactured in never-rust 304 stainless steel and with all proper contours to correctly replace the original.
This pair of slotted Machine-Gun style exhaust tips is the style exclusive to 1971 HEMI engined models, however can also be made to fit a variety of other exhaust systems as they use a simple screw/nut combination for installation on the exhaust pipes.
Tips measure approx 7.5″ end to end
